Domestic labels shouldn't be tracked outside of the country (in your case US),but if you use USPS customs labels, then some coutries can provide complete tracking till delivery including Russia, UK, France, Germany, Kazakhstan, Australia (actually this is strange, but i saw several customs label tracked via Auspost) + some other countries. So if you can send anything with label, then it would be better than send with local numbers.

Так я тоже так делаю, обычно работает :) Покупаю на еБай за гроши внутренние штрихкоды USPS Tracking, так и называются они, и наклейваю на заказы в США, тк США не отслеживает наши R номера, не слать же мне теперь доругущими посылками С мелочи всякие, а без трекинга покупателей не устраивает, вот так и живём. :)

Looks like this is case.I found my shipment to Uruguay there also, on Correos Brasil
I supose all shipments from Europe to South America are going to Curitiba in Brasil and after that to other counties

I need advise about my parcel.I bought some months ago some items from russian seller site (Saint Petersburg) using the russian post, but the package has not arrived yet to Uruguay.The first sending from russia post was on 21/05/2016.It seems it arrived and dispatched from venezuela the 14/06/2016, but still not arrived to me.
On track17 it says it has expired.I contacted the uruguayan post and they say the package has not arrived here.Also sent some emails for info at the venezuela post but the emails returned back or are blocked (mailer daemon).There´s  no way to contact them to know where they sent the package.
The tracking number is  RB664679366RU.
Can it take so long to arrive (is a small parcel - 0.125grms weight) or the venezuelan post took to them or is lost somewhere or they send it to Africa or other site??
Which is the normal international route of the post from russia to venezuela then Uruguay.........??
I bought other parcel from same seller and it took exactly 2 months to arrive and also passed from venezuela but it took less time to arrive to me.
By the way the package is sent by air or they can sent by boat??

Its arrived to Venezuela on 14.06, and according data it was sent somewhere (perhaps to destination point), So you need to contact local post and ask where the items now.
Maybe it lost by Venezuela post or still lay on some post office.
