already shows the status: 08.09.2017 20:40:00   The Item is at the shippers warehouse
So something is not working here...

Hi! Unfortunately PostNL does not offer tracking with number only. You must enter the destination country and postcode as well. You should enter the number, then the country of destination and then the destination postcode into the tracking number field. Example:CA123456789NL;US;12345

I'm sorry, but YOU are not correct. PostNL.post is only used to track LETTERS AND POSTCARDS. All the other items require postcode and dest country. Check  here or  here. Also, our service cannot determine whether your item is a letter(postcard) or another item only by number (numbers starting with R could be whatever from postcard to small packet or M-bag), therefore our website will require dest country and postcode in any case. You're welcome to track your items at carrier's official website with number only though. Thank you.
